As we quickly approach February, Nintendo fans are heading into the usual speculative Nintendo Direct season. Despite official confirmation of a Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Direct happening this Thursday, there are all sorts of rumors going around that Nintendo will be holding a larger broadcast presentation as soon as next week.
Walmart is adding more fuel to that fire as the retailer has seemingly slipped and posted a new graphic early that indicates Pikmin 2 and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes will be added to Nintendo Switch Online’s GameCube application soon.
Check out the official graphic from Walmart.com below.

Pikmin 2 is currently available on Nintendo Switch as part of the Pikmin 1+2 bundle. This is not the first time a first-party Nintendo game has received multiple releases on the same system. Super Mario Sunshine is also set to join Nintendo Switch Online soon and was already made available on the platform through the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection.
It is also worth noting that the Nintendo GameCube NSO app is only available on Nintendo Switch 2.
When Nintendo officially confirms Pikmin 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch Online, we will be sure to let you all know!
