Hot Topic and BoxLunch are getting exclusive new Pikmin collections

Nintendo has revealed that a new lineup of Pikmin clothing from the company Mad Engine Global will be made available exclusively at Hot Topic and BoxLunch.

In a new My Nintendo Reward listing, the Pikmin Summer Wear Sweepstakes gives fans a first look at the upcoming Mad Engine x Pikmin collaboration. The entire collaboration appears to be designed around Pikmin 3 and Pikmin Garden promotional material.

Following the links to Nintendo’s official Hot Topic licensing page will bring viewers to a widescreen photo showcasing more unannounced merchandise as well.

The Mad Engine x Pikmin collection seems to focus on Red, Blue and Yellow Pikmin, however, one piece of clothing in the advertising also includes Purple, White, Rock, and Winged Pikmin. Glow Pikmin from Pikmin 4 on Nintendo Switch have yet to be spotted, but we think their inclusion is very unlikely.

As of publishing this article, BoxLunch currently has 12 of Mad Engine’s Pikmin products available to order. Hot Topic has not provided any availability date.

While Hot Topic and BoxLunch are owned by the same parent company, Sycamore Partners, each store often carries exclusive products not found at the other.

Nintendo and Mad Engine have only revealed clothing for this collaboration, but we suspect some home accessories could be thrown into the mix as well. Mad Engine produces cups, bowls and plushes for other franchises, such as Pokémon and Sonic the Hedgehog.
