PIKMIN PUZZLE CARD

First Released

JP: April 29, 2004

The Nintendo e-Reader, or Nintendo e+ in Japan, is an accessory for the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy SP, and Nintendo DS that reads special strips on e-Reader cards, unlocking mini-games, items, levels, and functions for games. It can also connect to the GameCube using a Game Boy Advance to GameCube Link Cable. The Pikmin Puzzle Cards were released in Japan after Pikmin 2 and featured Pikmin-themed mini-games playable on the Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Player connected to a GameCube. The cards come in red, yellow, and blue packs, each containing five cards with three mini-game levels.

There are three types of mini-games you can unlock from a card pack. In Hikkonuki Pikmin, your goal is to pluck all the Pikmin stuck in the ground to free them. In Tekuteku Pikmin, you control the Pikmin and guide them through a course to reach the end. In Tsunagete Pikmin, you adjust platforms to help the Pikmin reach the other side of the arena.
