The Pikmin Short Movies are three animated films released in 2014, featuring Pikmin interacting with the environment of PNF-404 alongside Captain Olimar. The films, titled The Night Juicer, Treasure in a Bottle, and Occupational Hazards, focus on the Pikmin's interactions with their surroundings and their individual behavior. Some actions depicted in the shorts, such as Pikmin flowering at will or White Pikmin spitting acid, contradict the established game canon, leaving their place within the canon unclear. The shorts, along with four bonus clips, were originally available for purchase on the Wii U (Pikmin Short Movies HD) and 3DS eShops (Pikmin Short Movies 3D) but have since been moved to Nintendo's official YouTube channels for free viewing.
