PIKMIN 1 + 2

First Released 

In Pikmin 1 Captain Olimar’s interstellar vacation takes a disastrous turn when a rogue meteor crashes into his ship, scattering its parts across an uncharted planet. Stranded with only 30 days of life support, he must recover the missing pieces with the help of the curious, plant-like Pikmin. In Pikmin 2 after returning to Hocotate, Olimar learns that his company is in crushing debt, prompting the return to the Distant Planet in search of valuable treasures. Upon arrival, Louie falls out of the cockpit, leaving Olimar to reunite with him and begin their quest to find riches and save the company.

Pikmin 1 + 2 release on Nintendo Switch retains most of the changes made in the New Play Control! versions for the Wii, including updated motion controls and widescreen support for a more immersive experience. The Switch versions also feature higher resolutions, providing enhanced visuals compared to the original GameCube and Wii releases. In Pikmin 2, much of the product placement has been removed and replaced with fictional brands
